Job summary

Edward Jones in Canada seeks a Registered Branch Associate to join a trusted team of financial professionals serving clients with tailored investment solutions. The role partners with Financial Advisors to deliver service and advice in a regulatory-compliant manner.

You will gather client information, help open accounts, and support portfolio discussions while building lasting client relationships within a supportive, client-centric firm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma or four years of relevant industry experience.
• Currently a Registered Representative with CIRO and complete licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather information and collect suitability information to open new accounts.
• Research portfolio performance, costs/fees, asset allocation and changes to portfolio construction.
• Execute Financial Advisor solicited buy/sell orders and confirm with clients.
• Conduct proactive reviews and collect suitability information for select accounts.
• Answer general client questions regarding stock recommendations and withdrawals.
