Job description
Overview

The team Leader Asset, Asset Protection is responsible for supervising the activities of the Asset Protection Team on a 24/7 basis to ensure that all programs, policies and procedures are adhered to.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the enforcement and application of Walmart Logistics’ policies and procedures by regularly inspecting the workplace to maintain its site safety, physical security and Associate security.
  • Provides strong leadership to the Site Associates, leading the Asset Protection Associates using positive communication, by coaching for success and engaging.
  • Investigates and documents all incidents of loss including theft, property damage, security breaches, and shrink. Prepares investigation reports and recommends appropriate corrective measures, administrative controls, disciplinary actions, and/or program improvements as required.
  • Provides training support to operations through the identification, development, and delivery/sourcing of AP training and education as required.
  • Supervises the emergency response procedures as required and maintains records of emergency equipment testing.
  • Provides operational departments partnership, in the application of AP procedures, and safe work practices and procedures.
  • Participates in the execution of AP and Total Loss initiatives (audits, analyzing data, validating process and mitigating shrink).
  • Schedules the required full time, part time personnel to support operational requirements on a weekly basis. Monitoring timekeeping and attendance.
