Job summary

Walmart Canada in Keswick, ON is seeking a hands-on overnight stocking supervisor to lead the department's overnight team, respond to problems, and develop associates through coaching and training.

You will plan and execute department activities based on workload and operations, assist on the sales floor as required, conduct daily safety audits, lead the daily huddle, and partner with Store Management to drive accuracy, security of high-value items, and overall store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and coordinate task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assess the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Lead daily team huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured; all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and complete daily audits as per program.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities; develop associates through teaching and training and provide feedback.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates; supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $20.85.
