Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an overnight stocking supervisor to lead the stocking teams and department processes. You will respond to problems, guide associates through training, and support the sales floor as needed.

You will plan and execute department activities based on workload, ensuring safety, proper merchandising, and clear communication with the team. The role involves daily huddles, schedule reviews, and collaboration with the Coach/People Lead to foster growth.

Qualifications

• Overnight stocking leadership experience or ability to lead shifts.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Comfort with safety, loss prevention and store standards.

• Monitors store presentation, notes deficiencies, and executes merchandising changes as needed.

• Reviews schedules with the People Lead and supports recruiting and hiring of associates.
• Provides opportunities for coaching and development through training and feedback.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training.

Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.

What You'll Do

• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and the Store Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
