Job summary

Walmart Canada in Victoria is seeking an Associate to provide customer service by stocking and merchandising duties in a safe, clean store environment.

You will work as part of a team, plan tasks according to workload, and help ensure product availability by stocking picks and new merchandise with attention to accuracy and safety standards. This role is based at the Victoria, BC store and offers ongoing training and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.
• Availability to work in shifts.
• Ability to lift and stock merchandise.

Position Summary...

To provide customer service by completing assigned stocking activities. This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.

What You'll Do...

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
