Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp is seeking a stocking associate to provide customer service and stocking duties in a store environment. You will greet customers, assist with locating merchandise, promote products and ensure a clean, safe shopping area.

You will review workloads, sign merchandise, maintain shelf integrity and support stock movements in backrooms and fixtures daily. The role emphasizes working within a team to manage workload, use proper equipment, and uphold safety standards across all tasks

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.

Position Summary…

To provide customer service by completing assigned stocking activities. This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.15.
