Job summary

Walmart Canada in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking an Associate to provide customer service by stocking and merchandising in a safe, clean environment. You will work as part of a team to plan and execute duties based on workload and store operations.

The role monitors workload, signs merchandise, maintains shelves, supports stock unloading, and helps ensure a hazard-free store. Minimum age 16 or older; hourly pay starts at CAD 18.80.

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process

Position Summary...

To provide customer service by completing assigned stocking activities. This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.
