Job summary

Walmart Canada in Peterborough, ON is hiring an Associate to provide customer service while stocking merchandise in a safe, clean environment. The role supports the Customer Availability Process and requires availability from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

You will greet customers, locate products, and assist with purchase decisions. You will sign merchandise, maintain shelves, and help prepare backroom stock unloading. The position starts at $18.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Availability to work early morning shifts (7:00 am–3:30 pm).
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection and resolving issues.
• Review workload for the assigned area and maintain shelf integrity and capacity.
• Accurately sign merchandise and ensure proper fixtures.
• Support stock unloading, backroom preparation and inventory processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and complete safety checks and logs.

Position Summary

To provide customer service by completing assigned stocking activities. This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions. Must be available 7am to 3:30pm.

What You'll Do

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.


• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store


• Accurately signing merchandise.


• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.


• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.


• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.


• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.


• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.10.
