Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edmonton is seeking an Associate Stocker to provide friendly customer service, stock shelves, and maintain a safe, clean store environment. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with locating merchandise, signing stock, and supporting backroom stock unloading.

You will work as part of a team to execute stocking duties, ensure proper fixtures and tools are used, and follow safety procedures in daily operations.

• Provide excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Review workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process
