Position Summary... Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada is an excellent opportunity to build hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. In this role, you play a key part in keeping the store running smoothly by unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and moving pallets to the sales floor, all while maintaining a safe and clean workspace. Receiving and Unloading Merchandise: Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
Handle and Move Merchandise Safely: Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
Stocking and Customer Support: Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
Overstock Organization: Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment: Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
