Summary of Functions

Provide customer service by performing tasks related to receiving merchandise and its movement within the sales area. This includes unloading trailers, moving pallets to the sales area, and assisting with merchandise processing in a clean and safe environment. Work as part of a team to plan and execute tasks based on workload and operational functions.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and organize the receiving area.
2. Unload trailers and sort general merchandise.
3. Unload other types of merchandise from trailers.
4. Maintain the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen products.
5. Move pallets within the sales area for processing by the night team.
6. Assist with storage and provide customer service as needed.
7. Label and place surplus merchandise.
8. Contribute to a safe, clean, and obstacle-free work environment by following company directives and procedures, including safety scans and ensuring displays are secure.

Minimum Skills
