Responsibilities
  1. Ensure excellent customer service by greeting and thanking each customer, locating merchandise, and maintaining high standards of service and patient care in the pharmacy.
  2. Establish and develop strong working relationships with division management and district managers of professional services.
  3. Manage pharmacy workflow, process prescription requests or renewals from clients, doctors, and hospitals, ensuring all prescriptions are handled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
  4. Advise on medication administration, usage, and effects, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
  5. Review records and reports to ensure compliance with operational expectations.
  6. Utilize pharmacy computer systems, cash register equipment, and update customer medication profiles.
Compensation

The pay range for this position is $41.60 - $55.90/hr, determined by relevant experience.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications
  • Age: 16 or older
  • License: Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
