Position Summary: The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care based on feedback received during patient consultations or file reviews.

What You'll Do:

1. Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
2. Establish and develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
3. Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
4. Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
5. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
6. Follow Walmart's SOPs and best practices.
7. Operate pharmacy equipment (register, computer systems, etc.).
8. Protect patient privacy and follow provincial regulations.
9. Provide eligible services such as medication reviews and injections.
10. Ensure pharmacy is open during posted hours.
11. Assist in executing the business plan to meet corporate goals, in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older
• Pharmacist License (secondary permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
