Position Summary...

The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of pharmacy operations. Provides patient care tailored to each patient based on feedback received during consultation or file review.

What you'll do...

• Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
• Establish and develop a strong working relationship with the Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders.
• Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
• Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Follow established workflows and SOPs to execute processes.
• Operate pharmacy equipment (register, computer system, etc.).
• Protect patient privacy at all times, complying with provincial regulations.
• Ensure patients receive eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet their needs.
• Keep the pharmacy open and operational during posted hours.
• Assist in executing the business action plan to meet corporate goals in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.
