Position Summary

The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care based on feedback received during consultations or file reviews.

What You'll Do
  1. Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
  2. Establish and develop strong working relationships with the Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders.
  3. Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
  4. Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
  5. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
  6. Follow Walmart's SOPs and best practices in all processes.
  7. Operate pharmacy equipment (registers, computer systems, etc.) and protect patient privacy in accordance with provincial regulations.
  8. Ensure patients receive eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet their needs.
  9. Maintain pharmacy operational during posted hours.
  10. Assist in executing the business plan to achieve corporate goals in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.
Minimum Qualifications

Must be 16 or older with a valid Pharmacist License. Alberta license holders may have the Additional Prescribing Authorization (CA_APA).
