Position Summary: The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care based on feedback received during consultations or file reviews.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure excellent patient experience and assist in locating merchandise.
  2. Establish strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
  3. Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
  4. Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
  5. Properly store pharmaceutical products.
  6. Follow Walmart's SOPs and best practices.
  7. Operate pharmacy equipment (register, computer systems, etc.).
  8. Protect patient privacy and comply with provincial regulations.
  9. Provide eligible services to patients (medication reviews, injections, etc.).
  10. Maintain pharmacy hours and assist in executing the business plan to meet goals.

Minimum Qualifications: Age 16 or older; Pharmacist License (secondary permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization).
