Position Summary

The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care specific to each patient based on feedback received during patient consultation or file review.

What you'll do

1. Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
2. Establish and develop a strong working relationship with the Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders.
3. Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from Customers, Doctors, or Hospitals.
4. Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using the established workflow models and counsel all patients on pharmaceutical products sold.
5. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
6. Execute processes as per Walmart's SOPs.
7. Operate all pharmacy equipment (register, computer systems, etc.).
8. Protect and maintain patient privacy at all times, following provincial regulations.
9. Ensure patients receive all eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet their needs.
10. Ensure the pharmacy is open and operational during posted hours.
11. Assist in executing the business action plan with the Pharmacy Manager to meet corporate goals.
