• Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation: handle alarms and log failures to deactivate.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment: return scanners to storage after use.
• Flexibility: be available for evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

What You'll Do

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards

• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized self checkout area, ensuring it remains free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and spills.

Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives

• Supports the promotion of company sponsored programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives, when applicable.

Support Customers at Self Checkout

• Helps customers use self checkout quickly and confidently by offering assistance when needed, monitoring activity, and completing required checks. Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and **escalate** cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.

Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation

• Responds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log.

Manage Scan & Go Equipment

• Ensures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

Physical Demands

• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
