Position Summary: Working as a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with transactions at self-service areas, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

What You'll Do:

1. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized area, free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
2. Educate customers on the proper use of self-service options when applicable.
3. Promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
4. Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
5. Politely explain the reasons for interventions or quality checks in the self-service area, reassuring customers that these are standard procedures.
6. Respond to EAS alarms and complete the "Failure to Deactivate" log as needed.
7. Notify the Customer Service Manager of cash shortages or technical issues in the self-service area.
8. Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated location after use.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older
