Position Summary: Working as a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada offers an opportunity to develop retail skills. The role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with transactions at self-service areas, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

What you'll do:

1. Keep the area neat, clean, and organized, free of debris and hazards.
2. Educate customers on the proper use of self-service checkout options.
3. Promote company programs such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
4. Observe customer activities to offer assistance when needed.
5. Explain and reassure customers during quality checks and interventions.
6. Respond to EAS alarms and complete the 'Failure to Deactivate' Log.
7. Notify the Customer Service Manager of cash shortages or technical issues.
8. Return Scan & Go scanners after use.

The starting pay is $17.55/hour, with potential adjustments based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older.
