Position Summary

A Self-Checkout Attendant assists customers in processing transactions through self-service areas and provides exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty, while maintaining exemplary service by adhering to Walmart's Basic Beliefs and values.

What You'll Do

• Keep the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-service options.
• Promote company sponsor programs, such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
• Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
• When interventions and quality checks are required, politely explain the reasons and reassure customers that these are normal protocol.
• Respond to EAS alarms and fill out the "Failure to Deactivate" Log.
• Call the Customer Service Manager for technical issues or low cash in the self-service area.
• Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated location after use.

Minimum Qualifications

Age : 16 or older.
