Position Summary: Working as a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Self-Checkout Attendant provides exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience and assists customers with transactions through the self-service area(s). If you are interested in customer service or retail, this role may be a good fit for you.

What You'll Do:

• Keep the area neat, clean, and organized, free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-service options when applicable.
• Promote company programs such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives when applicable.
• Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
• Explain the reasons for interventions or quality checks politely, reassuring customers that these are normal procedures.
• Respond to EAS alarms and fill out the "Failure to Deactivate" Log.
• Call the Customer Service Manager for issues like low cash in the self-service area or technical problems.
• Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated place after use.

Minimum Qualifications:

Age - 16 or older.
