Position Summary

To provide exceptional customer service and assist in salesfloor operations to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty.

What You'll Do

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
3. Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management when appropriate.
4. Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing, and pricing merchandise.
5. Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per company policies.
6. Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and handle required paperwork and logs.
7. Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
8. Handle seasonal duties such as managing the Garden Centre (March-July), Toys at Christmas, and Bikes in Summer, including zone, water, cull plants, and some limited cash handling and physical activity.

Minimum Qualifications

Age – 16 or older.
