Job description

Position Summary: To provide exceptional customer service and assist in salesfloor operations to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty.

What you'll do:

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and helping make purchase decisions.
3. Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management when appropriate.
4. Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing, and pricing merchandise.
5. Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
6. Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, handle required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
7. Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
8. Seasonal Associates are assigned various duties throughout the year, including handling Garden Centre (March-July), Toys (Christmas), and Bikes (Summer). Responsibilities include zoning, watering, culling plants, limited cash handling, and some physical activity for bike handling.
