Job description

Position Summary: To provide exceptional customer service and assist in salesfloor operations to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty.

What you'll do:

1. Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
2. Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and helping make purchase decisions.
3. Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management when appropriate.
4. Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing, and pricing merchandise.
5. Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high-shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per company policies and procedures.
6. Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, administer required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
7. Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as needed.
8. Seasonal Associates may handle a variety of duties throughout the year, such as managing Garden Centre (March-July), Toys at Christmas, and Bikes in Summer. Responsibilities include zoning, watering, and culling plants, with some limited cash handling and physical activity involved, particularly for bike handling.
