Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy manager in all aspects of pharmacy operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, greet and thank each customer, and maintain high levels of patient care.
• Develop strong working relationships with division management and district professional services managers.
• Manage pharmacy workflow, process prescriptions and renewals from clients, doctors, and hospitals.
• Ensure prescriptions are correctly and safely processed, advise on medication administration, use, and effects.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Review records and reports to ensure compliance with operational expectations.
• Use pharmacy computer systems, cash register equipment, and update client medication profiles.

Minimum Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization).
