Position Summary: The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care tailored to each patient based on feedback received during consultation or file review.

What You'll Do...

• Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
• Establish and develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
• Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
• Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Execute processes as per Walmart's SOPs.
• Operate pharmacy equipment (register, computer system, etc.).
• Protect patient privacy at all times, following provincial regulations.
• Ensure patients receive eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet their needs.
• Maintain pharmacy operation during posted hours.
• Assist in executing the business action plan with the Pharmacy Manager to achieve corporate goals.

Minimum Qualifications...

• Age - 16 or older.
• License - Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization).
