Position Summary...
As a part of Walmart Connect, you’ll build industry-defining omni-channel ad platforms at scale that enable Walmart suppliers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high-performing campaigns while helping shoppers discover products to enhance their shopping journey.
We are looking for a Manager, Ads Products & Platforms to build products that expand the customer touchpoints for Walmart Connect advertisers. The Product Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end product design, launch, and operations of Sponsored Search. The manager will champion a substantial part of the overall Walmart Connect business, requiring both short-term and long-term strategic thinking. The successful candidate will be a collaborative product leader with in-depth knowledge of advertising technology.
What you'll do...
- Product Execution: Drive ad product strategy, design, and product delivery of advertising products. Support Walmart Connect’s advertising program and foster its delivery across Walmart (Owned & Operated) and Walmart network partners.
- Product Development: Create new ad products by partnering with tech providers, eCommerce teams, and Walmart Global Tech. Work with engineering and data science to define measurement methodologies, data requirements, APIs, and UX. Deliver exceptional products on budget and on time.
- Product Innovation Drive: Leverage data and media inventory to create value for advertisers. Increase the breadth of premium inventory available to marketers on first-party and third-party demand platforms.
- Product Health and Performance: Collaborate with the team leader to translate strategies into ad tech requirements and deploy platforms, tools, and partnerships. Enhance Walmart’s audience-first and biddable media capabilities while ensuring high-quality, valuable media inventory.
- Data Analysis: Dive into data and conduct industry and competitive analysis to identify trends. Build business cases and define success metrics based on user feedback.
- Partnerships: Foster collaborative relationships with ad-tech and platform partners. Serve as an internal subject matter expert to optimize Walmart media buying using data and technology. Work with stakeholders across departments to deliver high-quality products on budget and on time.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience with advertising, marketing, or equivalent
- Experience with advertising technologies such as DSP, SSP, OMS, or other advertising platforms
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to product roadmaps
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners
Preferred
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering with a solid technical and analytical background
- At least 6 years of product management experience with key teams to develop, deploy, and launch complex technology-driven products
- Technical experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms, SOA, and modern software environments (JavaScript, API, etc.)
- Ability to tell stories with data, create presentations, and present to senior management
