- Zones the department.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
- Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Follows food safety and handling procedures and sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
- Ensures that the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business.
- Follows Health and Safety guidelines.
- Stocks merchandise/picks, downstocks if applicable, applies product protection when required, and sets and completes modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
