Position Summary

Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail skills. The role involves providing exemplary customer service, maintaining and zoning the produce area, stocking, and assisting with sales. What you'll do

1. Zone the department.
2. Rotate stock and check for expired products.
3. Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Adhere to standards for cold chain, thermometer calibration, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, and expiration dates.
5. Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
6. Follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging, pricing, and labeling.
7. Ensure the department is fully stocked and ready for business.
8. Follow health and safety guidelines.
9. Stock merchandise, pick, downstock if applicable, apply product protection, and set modulars, including flex modulars and new shelves.
