What you'll do
  1. Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature zones, ensuring on-time delivery with quality in mind.
  2. Pack orders carefully, distinguishing between similar products, verifying quantities, and using correct product codes.
  3. Ensure products are of the highest quality, avoiding damaged items and selecting the freshest options.
  4. Accurately document and label all orders, interpreting documentation such as pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
  5. Optimize tote filling by packing efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  6. Balance order fulfillment with customer interaction, supporting issues to resolution.
  7. Maintain strict safety and hygiene standards, including keeping work areas clean, cleaning spills immediately, and ensuring totes are debris-free. Operate material handling equipment safely, completing pre-use safety checks, and demonstrating behaviors aligned with organizational values.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting operational, safety, and quality enhancements. Be flexible in adjusting work assignments based on customer needs and delivery schedules.
