Position Summary

What You'll Do

1. Assist in customer service by collecting shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them to a safe storage location using Walmart approved procedures, and completing necessary logs.
2. Respond promptly to requests at all registers, assist customers with carry outs or ins, and verify receipts for proof of purchase.
3. Follow established guidelines for cleaning and maintaining restrooms, handle chemicals safely, and use power equipment with proper inspection reports before use.
4. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and blood-borne pathogen protocols.
5. Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk.
6. Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures.
7. Promote safety by wearing personal protective equipment such as steel-toe footwear and reflective vests during cart collection for visibility.
8. Complete safety sweeps as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 16 years or older.
