Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Overnight Remodel Associate in Hamilton, ON to work with the Overnight Remodel Manager. The role involves unloading fixtures, building counters per provided prints, merchandizing newly set departments and securing high-ticket merchandise.

You will move merchandise, stock multiple departments, comply with cold chain standards, and assist in shrink prevention. The minimum pay starts at CAD 17.75 per hour, with on-site duties in Hamilton.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
• Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
• Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments
• Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
• Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
• Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
• Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

Position Summary...

An overnight remodel associate works with the Overnight Remodel Manager to establish standards in newly renovated departments. They complete modulars, ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, maintains clearance zone, unloads and loads fixtures onto trucks, builds counters according to the print, and merchandises newly set departments.

What You\'ll Do...

• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
• Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
• Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments
• Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
• Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
• Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
• Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
• May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75.
