Job summary

Walmart Canada in Brockville, ON is seeking an Associate to support receiving and floor maintenance, unloading trailers, stocking backroom inventory and assisting customers in a safe, clean store environment.

You will help prepare the sales floor for opening, label features, sign merchandise, and participate in overnight processing by moving pallets, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.
• Ability to perform unloading, stocking and merchandising tasks.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening and set up merchandising features.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers and move pallets to the floor.
• Label and sign merchandise, and stock backroom bins as directed.
• Assist in stocking the sales floor and provide customer service when needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and complete safety checks.
• Process overnight merchandise moves and ensure displays are secure.
• Support overall store operations as workload requires.

Position Summary...To provide customer service by completing assigned tasks relating to receiving and the flow of merchandise through to the sales floor. This will be accomplished by unloading trailers, pulling pallets to the floor and assisting in the processing of merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.What you'll do...1. Preparing the sales floor for store opening2. Setting, merchandising and signing features3. Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise4. The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking5. Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing6. Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service if necessary7. Label the sales floor for store opening8.
