Position Summary

A Student/Intern Optician assists in providing the store with expertise on the ordering and dispensing of quality eyewear under the guidance of a Licensed Optician, while maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to the 3 Basic Beliefs and values of Walmart. The Student Optician must be currently enrolled in the licensing program in their province of employment.

What You'll Do

1. Develop the optical business through executing programs and promoting the Walmart brand.
2. Build collaborative relationships with optometrists and other healthcare providers in Walmart and the community.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure excellent customer experience.
4. Attend and complete all required courses and successfully fulfill licensing requirements within the province and timeframe specified by the district manager.
5. Practice within the regulatory environment of their region.

Minimum Qualifications

Age - 16 or older
