What you'll do
  1. Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature zones with care to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  2. Pack orders with attention to detail, distinguishing between similar products, verifying quantities, and using correct product codes.
  3. Ensure picked products are of the highest quality, free from damage, and selected for freshness.
  4. Document and label all orders accurately by interpreting pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
  5. Optimize tote fill by packing orders efficiently while maintaining product quality standards.
  6. Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction, supporting issues to resolution.
  7. Adhere to safety and food hygiene standards, maintain a clean work area, clean spills promptly, and ensure totes are debris-free before packing. Operate material handling equipment safely, completing pre-use safety checks. Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting operational, safety, and quality improvements. Be flexible in completing work assignments based on customer needs and daily delivery schedules.

The starting pay rate for this position is $16.15 per hour, with the rate determined based on relevant experience.
