(CAN) Meat Associate-Overnight part time

Position Summary

What you'll do

1. Zone the department.
2. Rotate stock and check for expired products.
3. Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Follow standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibration, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, and managing sell-by and expiration dates.
5. Take orders for Deli Department merchandise, slice and prepare items such as meat, cheese, fried chicken, and assist customers as needed.
6. Follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing, labeling, and pricing.
7. Prepare deli food orders, including slicing meats and cheeses, using slicers, stackers, and other utensils; prepare chicken using rotisserie oven and deep fryer; fill salads and side dishes for display and customer orders.
8. Follow Health and Safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 16 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Optional qualifications are not listed; however, any relevant experience or skills are a plus.
