Position Summary

What you'll do

1. Zone the department.
2. Rotate stock and check for expired products.
3. Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
5. Take orders for Deli Department merchandise; slice and prepare items such as meat, cheese, fried chicken; and assist customers as needed.
6. Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signage/flagging/pricing/labels.
7. Prepare deli food orders, including meat, cheese, using slicers, stackers, and other utensils; prepare chicken using rotisserie oven and deep fryer; and fill prepared salads and side dishes for display and customer orders.
8. Follow Health and Safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Age: 16 or older.
