Responsibilities

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards: keep the meat department clean, organized, and properly zoned; rotate stock and remove expired items.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing: sign and price merchandise, follow procedures for ordering, clearance, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices: temperature checks, proper handling, product rotation, sell-by and expiration date compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products: take orders and prepare deli items using slicers, ovens, fryers, and other equipment safely.
• Health and Safety Compliance: follow all health, safety guidelines and company policies for a safe workplace.
• Flexibility: available for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Maintain Department Organization and Standards Keeps the department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times. Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.
• Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing Ensures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Practices Adheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration date compliance.
• Prepare and Serve Deli Products Takes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken. Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.
• Health and Safety Compliance Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

  • Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
