Risk Control Self-Assessment Analyst

Job Title: Risk Control Self-Assessment Analyst

Duration: 12 months Contract

Work Type: Hybrid, on-site twice a week

Pay Range: C$60 - C$75/Hr

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership for the provision of technical expertise in development and support of activities, processes, procedures and tools for protecting information security with a focus on application security.
2. Research, design and implement application security solutions and practices.
3. Direct testing of security plans. Lead the evaluation of new and proposed security systems and technologies.

Must Have:

1. RCSA – Risk & Control Self-Assessment
2. Control Testing
3. Risk & Control Statement writing
4. Excel – XLOOKUP, PivotTables, Queries, Macros
5. Ability to lead meetings
6. Excellent communication skills – Written & Verbal
7. Previous experience working with executives
8. Leadership or management experience
9. Strong presentation skills

Nice to Have:

1. EGRC/MERLIN system experience
2. Project management skills
3. Banking experience

DISQUALIFIERS: Contract job-hopping is a red flag.

Notes: US & Canadian experience is important.
