Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items as needed.

• Process purchase transactions quickly and accurately, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
• Promote sponsor programs, such as Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Follow safe work practices including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintain register security and integrity through cash handling and adherence to policies.
• Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a supervisor or Front End Team Lead.
• Educate and support customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.

• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings..
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
