Walmart Canada is seeking a capable supervisor to lead Food and Consumables activities in Salaberry‑de‑Valleyfield. You will assist in department processes, respond to inquiries, and train associates to maintain exceptional customer service while ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

In this role you will plan department activities, supervise merchandising, and coordinate coverage across shifts. You will collaborate with the Coach and People Lead to support performance growth and recruitment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, promoting products, locating merchandise, and helping with purchase decisions.
• Delegate and coordinate daily tasks per priorities from Coaches and Store Management, and follow up on completion of tasks.
• Assess department presentation and merchandising, and implement display changes as needed.
• Maintain strong communication with associates, lead daily Team Huddles, provide updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Review schedules with People Lead and assign associates to support coverage and availability across store areas.
• Identify training opportunities during tours with the Coach and team; mentor associates and provide feedback.
• Contribute to a safe, clean environment by following policy, completing safety logs, and keeping displays secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support management.
• Assist with performance conversations and recruitment.

Position Summary

Assists in the leadership of the Food and Consumable areas and department processes, respond to problems and inquiries and develop associates through teaching and training. Ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion.

Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.

What You'll Do

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Food & Consumables Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of daily Customer Availability process tasks.
• Assesses the overall presentation of Food & Consumables Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensure strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Assign Associates to support coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
