Walmart Inc. is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate in Burlington, ON to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area. You will help with stocking, zoning, and ensuring accurate pricing and signage.

The role requires adherence to cold chain and food safety standards, including thermometer calibrations and temperature logging. This position starts at a hourly rate with potential for growth in a dynamic retail environment.

Position Summary...

A Food and Consumables Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the food and consumables area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What you'll do...

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
