Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate who will deliver exemplary customer service, maintain the food and consumables area, and assist with stocking and selling goods.

You will zone the department, rotate stock, ensure accurate signing and pricing, and uphold cold-chain standards, thermometer calibrations, and label control while working at 2370 McPhillips St, Winnipeg.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
