Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate in Saint John, NB to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining and stocking the food and consumables area. You will zone shelves, ensure pricing and signage, and support cold-chain processes.

This position starts at a minimum hourly rate of CAD 16.05, with the potential to grow within a busy retail environment at Walmart Canada.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
