Job summary

Walmart Canada in Milton, Ontario is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining and organizing the food and consumables area at the Milton store.

You will assist with stocking, rotation, pricing, labeling and ensuring compliance with cold chain and food handling standards to keep products safe and properly displayed.

The position offers a starting wage of $17.75 per hour in a retail environment, with opportunities to grow within Walmart Canada.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
