Job summary

Walmart Milton is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area.

You will stock shelves, rotate stock, ensure correct pricing and signage, follow cold chain standards, record temperatures, and support ordering, markdowns and shelf labeling. The starting pay is 17.75 CAD per hour. This frontline role requires reliability, teamwork and a willingness to learn Walmart policies.

What you’ll do…

1. Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
2. Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
3. Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
4. Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
5. Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75.
