Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edson, AB is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining and organizing the food and consumables area.

You will help stock shelves, rotate stock, ensure correct pricing and signage, and follow cold chain and food handling standards. The role starts at a minimum hourly rate of $16.65 and offers opportunities to grow. This is a full-time, on-site position with a supportive team in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
