Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edson, AB is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide friendly customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area and assisting with stocking and sale of goods. You will help zone the department, rotate stock, ensure signage and pricing accuracy, and follow strict cold chain and food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.65.
