Job summary

Walmart Canada in Atholville, NB is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to deliver friendly customer service while maintaining and zoning the food and consumables area and assisting with stocking and selling goods.

You will zone the department, rotate stock, verify shelves are signed and priced, and follow cold chain, thermometer calibration, temperature recording and expiry best practices to ensure safe, accurate merchandising. Minimum age 16 or older.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to keep shelves, tables and bunkers organized and products in the correct locations.

What You'll Do...

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.05.
